Welcome to Praslin Ocean Farm situated on the beautiful island of Praslin in the Seychelles archipelago in the western part of the Indian Ocean. The climate and the crystal clear waters around these islands makes it ideal for the cultivation of both giant clams and  black lip pearl oysters which form the black pearls.

Praslin Ocean Farm consists of 4 business areas connected to the local marine life and is owned and run by a Norwegian family for more than 10 years. During this period the family has been engaged in several pilot projects related to aquaculture and marine development. The main activities at the moment are pearl cultivation on the Black Lip Pearl Oyster specie Pinctada margaritifera, and breeding of the Giant Clam specie Tridacna maxima for export as aquarium pets to USA and Europe.
